Petite Ruche Crozes-Hermitage Blanc Marsanne
To austere for me – tastes like 100% steel

Jul 21st, 2022Similar to the Yolo County Hermitage blanc blend I just had, the nose on this is pretty much the equivalent of dirty flowers. But the palate! Oh, the palate!
There's a focused intensity to the palate that is super refreshing. White flowers and verbena and lemon meringue dance and while the NW blend I just tried was lush, this one is precise.

Great potential and the other bottles in the case will lay for a few years.
