Similar to the Yolo County Hermitage blanc blend I just had, the nose on this is pretty much the equivalent of dirty flowers. But the palate! Oh, the palate!

Ruby-purple inky color; youthful intense savory nose of dark fruits, raw meat, and pepper spices; high acid, fine tannins, robust mouth-feel despite the only 13% alcohol, and a moderate-long finish. Great potential and the other bottles in the case will lay for a few years.
