Really good but need to breathe. Not too good at opening. Great full body and fruit.

I've seen very good reviews for this wine recently including a 94/100 and the price was great so I thought to give it a shot.

Full bodied and extra dry with strawberry, herbs and pepper. $13.

Big, forward, and gutsy. Big ripe nose. Spicy blackberry, earth, roasted herbs, smoky bacon. Mouthfilling earthy-iodine and dark blackberries. Some nice minerality in the finish. This could pass as a nice Beaumes de Venise. Not sure what it costs. It was a gift.

Cute label. 57% Syrah 43% Grenache. Lighter color. Kinda bright ruby red. Smells a bit like candies or cranberry sauce from the can. Flavors are ok. Bit thin. Has plenty of that drying, bitterness from the French tannins. Pretty simple stuff. Tart pie cherry and a hint of grape jolly rancher. It’s ok for a school night.
