This 11 year old Napa Cabernet is delicious now. Rich and elegant.

Complex nose with lots of black fruits. Really nice.

Showing blackberries, black currants, cooked cherries, cedar, vanilla, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, earth, tobacco leaf and herbs.

Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime.

Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years.

Dark ruby in color with a reddish/brick rim.

Nice nose of blueberries, black cherries, currants, cedar, earth, vanilla, licorice, spices, eucalyptus, dark chocolates, coffee, pencil lead, cola and black pepper.

Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, cooked cherries, oak, dark coffee, vanilla, licorice, bitter herbs, peppercorn, tobacco, earth and pencil lead.

Nice finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 15 Year old Cabernet Sauvignon is drinking very nicely. Very chocolatey, with lots of cola notes, especially on the nose.

Still nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel and nice complexity.

Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime. Tannins show up after 45 minutes.

It's always interesting to try these older Napa Cabernets, especially from the great 2007 vintage. I had this vintage a year ago and it is not as nice now. Declined since then, but still delicious.

Thank you Scott for sharing this with me.

Good by itself or with food, and would pair very well with a nice piece of steak. I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged for 20 months in French oak barrels.

14.3% alcohol by volume.

The 2009 M by Michael Mondavi offers a harmonious aromatic balance of rich dark fruit, stems of roses, and earthy forest floor. The juicy entry offers a round, silky mouthfeel with just enough acidity to complement the satin texture. This seductive wine shows flavors of black cassis, black cherry and a hint of cocoa powder. The fine-grained, plush tannins evolve into a long, supple finish. A supremely age-worthy wine, it will delight now and for many years to come.

Dark ruby in color with a wide brick rim.

Great nose of blueberries, blackberries, bell pepper, cedar, leather, dark chocolates, light vanilla, diet cola, dark coffee, black pepper, light alcohol, spices, earth, leather, vegetables, vinaigrette and tobacco.

Full bodied, smooth and elegant, with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, figs, vanilla, cedar, licorice, coke, tobacco, spices, black pepper, earth, herbs, dark chocolates and coffee.

Long finish with fine grained tannins, yet persistent, and tangy cherries.

What a great Cabernet sauvignon from Napa Valley this is. I had the 2006 recently and this is so much better.

This 13 year old is showing a great nose. I kept on smelling on it for a long time. Drinking very nicely now, with lots of complexity.

Thank you John for sharing this with me.

A good quality wine that still has lots in it to last another decade or two. Nicely balanced with great complexity and a smooth mouthfeel.

Good right out of the bottle, and changes every 20 minutes, which is so nice to see, and so interesting. I love these kind of wines. After two hours in a decanter it shows tannins and structure.

Delicious, tasty, interesting, rich and elegant.

Plums, spices, blackberries, mocha, leather. Chewy tannins, giving and overt. Classic Napa Cab.

The 2014 is less racy than the 2015. Plums, spice, cassis. Full bodied and has immediate term appeal.

Monthly guys group wine meet-up. No theme tonight aside from “it better be good”.

More stewed fruit than the Dunn. Tar and leather on the nose with raisin. Nice tannic backbone still. Smoked cranberries. My first experience with this wine. Held strong all night and the fruit didn’t fade off.

KaaaBoom. Feel like the team nailed this wine. Balanced tannins superb aromatics of blue skinned fruits, cassis and mellow cigar box. Wonderfully layered textured with a little broken quartz minerality. Stunning lengthy finish.

Black and blue fruits. Fresh acid and balance of tannins with subtle and mingling layer fruits. Super happy with this.

Wow, amazing atlas peak fruit. Concentrated and full but finishes on a softer note, very nice and complex!
