Pirovolikes Vineyard Dry Vilana
Great as a palate whetter, pending burgundy-style, garlic butter snails l.
Pale medium yellow.
Nose is lemon oil and pine resin, with a hint of nuttiness.
Palate is high acid, medium plus body, crisp finish that is quite long.

Jan 30th, 2024Smells like grass, tastes like apple, and after taste like honey. Really light in color, crisp, and yet sweet. Almost like a chardonnay.

Feb 16th, 2023Bracing acidity, huge minerality, a dash of lemon—refreshing, yet at 14% ABV can stand up to dynamic flavors like the squid stew we had tonight. This screams for shellfish and garlic.

Nov 4th, 2019Fresh, clean, dry nose with lots of notes of stone and just a hint of citrus peel. Intensely bright and clean on the palate with lots of bracing acidity. Primary flavors of lemon and lime zest with just a hint of juiciness lead to bracing acidity balanced out with notes of dry, salty granite. The finish lingers for a long time with tingling acidity and a nice juiciness at the back of the palate. Very much looking forward to having this with grilled shrimp.
