Spectacular nose on this - meter lemon zest, tangerine oil, a lifted slightly earthy pear note. Zesty palate entry with a hint on CO2. I've got bolognese bubbling on the stove and this seems like it could be a happy pairing with that instead just an aperitif.

May 28th, 2015Luna Beberide Godello 2013 DO Bierzo. Consistently one of my favorite wines in our book. Medium yellow. Intense, sharply focused aromas of apple and pear. Texturally rich with excellent underlying acid. This paired equally well with seared salmon and stroganoff.

Jul 15th, 2014One o the best wines I tasted this spring. Pale yellow green color. Aromas of peach, not quite ripe apricot and oct hard flowers/apple blossom. Fleshy textured but not fat. This is rich enough for roasted chicken with a reduced pan sauce and ligth enought for the most delicate seafood.

May 16th, 2014Right off the boat and singing! This is awesome Godello. Quince, orchard fruits, quinine, bitter almond/floaral. Richly textured. Who needs Chardonnay?
