A nice value here, though a littlelacking in excitement. Fresh and fruity, with red cherry and blue fruits, a little more structure would be nice but I think this is drinking exactly as its supposed to. #mencia #bierzo

An enjoyable Mencia. A youthful wine that serves as Alejandro's entry level Mencia. This is an easy drinker that isn't complicated.

Deep purple. Plenty of unresolved CO2, but this was an early bottling. Aromas of bramble berry, tobacco and dark/mineral/graphite. Just fine for imbibing while working on financials. If the kids have it this good, we'll be doing fine.

The grape is described as somewhere btwn a Pinot and a Cab. It's dry but flavorful, and a very unique flavor
