Sommelier recommended producer ($$$$$) an excellent choice.
Tasting notes: Sweet, candy scent upon opening (caramel/fudge) then quickly revealed a fruit structure - sweet red fruits and cinnamon sticks (we are making it sound like a dessert wine but that came next 😋)

Star of the night. Showed powerfully from the start. Nice level jump with great length oodles of complexity. Light honey and underlying sweetness. Can only imagine what this will be in 10 years.

This wine has a slight citrus nose. A very rich and smooth Chardonnay taste. Some picked up a little oak and apples. Great with lobster.
