Not bad. On the nose: oak toast, wild strawberry, coconut, some spice. Definitely oak dominant. On the palate, good acidity, a touch of woody bitterness, artificial strawberry, coconut, and attenuated tannin on the finish. The oak seems like it is taking over a bit.

2016/2/29 Humble Bourgogne but super yummy with food, my winter Chinese spare ribs noodles with shiitake, gobo root, lotus root. Although after dinner, the wood become too dominant

This is the best Bourgogne Rouge I've ever had. Dark purple and red fruits with ample spice notes. Smooth 1er cru Cote Nuit finish.

This wine has mostly dried out, with the oak overwhelming the fruit. Still good strawberry and coconut on the nose, but the palate leans a bit harsh with nice acidity, evanescent fruit, and intense tannin.
