A bit pricey, yet what is not in Burgundy. Austere at first, then open to strawberry candy, a hint of farm, elegant, fine acid, wet leaves, young.

Dec 14th, 2024Although often decent - I found that little red village Burgundies possess the unique elements of their superstar siblings. This one did - albeit in subtle hints, like the silent yet essential intro to a full blown concerto. This was very very good, yet most of all it made me long for a “normal” New Year’s Eve.

1 person found it helpfulOct 8th, 2020Not bad. On the nose: oak toast, wild strawberry, coconut, some spice. Definitely oak dominant. On the palate, good acidity, a touch of woody bitterness, artificial strawberry, coconut, and attenuated tannin on the finish. The oak seems like it is taking over a bit.
