Very dense and almost tangy in the nose. Dark fruit with rich plum, notes of iron, black cherry., Licorice, blood. Intense and very pure. Violets on the edges. A great sweet midpalate with expansive fruit. This is accessible and delicious.

Starting to think this might be my favourite Barolo...up there with wines from Aldo Conterno and Rinaldi. Deep, concentrated and brooding with lots of cherries and balsamico notes. This is not a light and acidic Barolo at all but big and bold. Loved it!

Lacks some of the power I see in other notes here. Certainly sound and specific, but not noteworthy tonight.

Nov 5th, 2023Wow...this is Barolo? Tatsted blind we were completely somewhere else. Dark and brooding this is a great wine. Dark fruits and leather...something like a highly concentrated balsamico. Very impressive. Served with pizza from the grill...yummy!

Ok, again the soft but very rich tannins, ik like the silky ness of this great wine. It’s more open for me then La Vigne and Aleste and it’s a meaty, powerful wine!! For me it’s a great wine but out of my Leaque price wise. So after this great tasting for me it’s simple, the 2017 Barolo’s are great and more affordable for the most of us. The Vite Talin is a guilty pleasure!!
