Uco Valley Malbec

Superb #Malbec. This #wine opens fuming with big berries and white pepper opening up to more brambly fruit, heavier pepper and showing some savory components. Clean, blackberry with seeds, stemy. Food worthy, suggesting heavier meats. Opened 12/3/17

Two thumbs up. Easy to drink, good balance. Grab some steaks!

Drinking the 2014 in 2018. Deep rich color. Excellent clarity. Full bouquet, rich with berry and oak. Very smooth on the tongue with low tannins. Slightly sweet flavor with rich berries and an oaky finish. Very nice wine.

Michael, I bought this malbac because of your reviews. A well made wine from beginning to end . Lots of dark fruit dark fruit. Still one note imho

Excellent wine! One of those rare Malbec’s with deep red fruit freshness of a northern Rhône and a nice mineral edge . Great finish.
