Pepper, tobacco, cocoa, and cherry. Bright but full a little sharp on the oak for me.

Enjoyed this one with chicken Marsala. Medium body with some dark cherry and plum notes. Light tannins with a leather note finish. Enjoyed this one for the low price point. Was only $12.89 at total wine. Had the 2021 in January of 2023. Would definitely buy this one again.

Good hearty flavor for a reasonably priced bottle of wine. Having with beef kabobs. Fantastic!

Color of cranberry juice, with a bit cloudy and purple hue on the rim. Nose of ripe sour dark fruits, like sour cherry and cranberry, a bit spice, a bit vanilla, a bit stingy in the nasal cavity, and a bit black tea fragrance. Taste of good quality tannins, good acidity, subtle sweetness, fermented cabbage, some mineral and spice, a bit oaky, and soft with some zest. Aftertaste of some more bittersweetness. On par.

Medium ruby hue. Aromas and flavors of cherry, licorice, plum, strawberry, and vanilla. Medium-plus body; ripe, medium-plus tannins; and medium-plus acidity. The nose is sweet; the palate soft; and the finish steady. Dangerously drinkable for such a young wine. A solid, everyday drinker from the Languedoc.

Self-identified as a medium body, but I'd put it as close to full-bodied as you can get. Very fruity, semisweet, would go well with pasta, pork dishes, some medium stews.
