Deep Ruby color, Medium-bodied, entry level wine with aromas of dark fruits and pepper spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry and currants with some cacao notes. Medium finish, rustic tannins, ending with fruit, mineral and pepper spice.

Dark Ruby with berry fruit and woody spice aromas. On the palate flavors of blackberry, spice and oak.Tannins are ripe and bite a bit, medium finish ending with woody character overpowering fruit. Pass. Tasting Sample.

Bright red purple in the glass. Nose of plum and cassis. Medium bodied, fruit-forward palate echoes the nose. Medium tannins and acidity round it all out. A food wine for sure (but that’s true for most Cabs in my not-so-humble opinion), at a price that will let you “upscale” your most everyday meals. I’m having mine with a NY strip that was on sale.

Must be paired with salty food. Good with salty beef or rich cheese.

Not a refined cab.. heavy medium on the palate. Acidic finish. Pairs well with cheese. Picked up for $12 and for the price point good. Plum, cherry, vanilla, and some slight raspberry notes. Great for a week night supper pairing wine. Overall would be happy to drink again and think it’s a great French cab at the price point.

This is a very good French wine! Very dry, but in a good way and gets better when opened up.
