Petit Mouton Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine Melon de Bourgogne

Nice salinity, crushed rocks, citrus and great acid.

Green apples, green melon, white peach, slight oxidized, lemon, lime, chalk, oak at the end with some butter. Bottle has been open for two days.

Fresh and mineral focused with beautiful orange blossom and cream notes. Brings about an instant craving for shellfish.

Now this is a Muscadet that has the verve and depth I look for.

Classic!

Crisp with a light lemon curd on the palate, grassy finish. Been open a week in the fridge & I think it rounded it out.

Worked fine with oysters. Lean and minerally.

Sweetly delicious. The atmosphere made it better.

A little flimsy. Missing acidity.

Always reliable, if not of the same level as Pepiére and the gang. Typical good Muscadet.
