Light color and body but still hobbling down the alley. After an hour little deterioration. Interesting

Dec 16th, 2016Holy shit, just holy shit. JaRue hooked it up. Still a very lively wine, surprising amount of fruit, hints of veg, still had nice structure.

May 24th, 2016When California wine was getting fine: Louis M Martini Cabernet Special Selection 1966 shared by a gentleman who purchased it 50 years ago for just $2.50 a bottle. Started a bit musty but that blew off in a few minutes. Medium-bottled, with sweet black fruit, tobacco, and a gorgeous, intriguing nose of mint. Silky tannins on the long finish. A half-century California Cab that still has it. History and hedonism from the same bottle.
