Dec 12th, 2020More cellar inspecting. We're sending some cool stuff to auction in 2015. This is my style of mature white wine: Oxidative flavors of butterscotch, marzipan, honey...if you're looking for peaches, apples, minerality, buttery goodness...look elsewhere. Of the many 1994 white burgundies that I've tried, this was the best.

Dec 22nd, 2014Butter, hay, lemon. Rather simple nose which screams Meursault in your face. The palate is huge with sheer acids, a buttery touch on the side, a huge width with a dense matter, some grip starting from mid palate, lemony notes all along and an everlasting finish with butter and lemon. It lasts more than a minute. What a finish! Such power. You gotta love it.

Sep 15th, 2019Showing signs of being in a reductive state. Deep gold in color. Nuttiness, apricot pit on the nose. Stone fruit with a hint of tropical on the palate. To me, past it's prime.
