A French Pinot Noir, which is interestingly grown in Beaujolais. Begins with a welcome balance of fruit and earth on the nose with raspberry and cranberry along notes of mushroom and black pepper.  These flavors continue onto a very well balanced palate which has an a lively vein of acidity running though it. A perfect pairing with creamy truffle steak penne! [4/29/23] ($35)

On the nose, this is amazing... Perfumed, dark cherry and raspberry... Kirsch... Cotton candy... On the palate, the bottom curiously drops out immediately... It goes earthy... That raspberry disappears... The cherry, a distant memory... A leathery texture here... Olive? Spoiled almost? Again, earth... Full bodied... Paired with a number of morel mushroom courses to amazing effect... That's what saves this, actually... Food almost mandatory here... Such a softening effect with creamy, flavorful dishes... In the end, even with just medium length... I like it.

Equilibrat, amb tocs afruitats (sobretot cirera amb tocs de maduixa), amb cos, rodó. Molt bon vi.

Pinot Noir from Beaujolais! Dark garnet color with aromas of red/blue/black fruit, Forrest Floor and cloves. Similar fruits on the pallet with hints of mocha, cinnamon and clove notes. Ripe, Rustic and Earthy. Well balanced.

Right after opening the bottle a lot of smoke and spices on the nose. Almost like cigar and coffee. Dry with mild acidity. Medium to full body. Enjoyable
