1978 vintage. Cannot believe this age. Some tart red fruit buried under all the secondary notes. At first, herbal and earthy and smoky on the nose and then soy sauce and mushrooms. Flinty and salty on the finish. As it opens, the fruit is revealed - red cherries and ripe strawberries. So complex and unexpected.

This was the 2010, i was expecting better than the 2009, but we all preferred the 2009. Still nice.
