En Paradis Pouilly-Vinzelles Chardonnay

This wine was all about the lemons especially Meyer lemon.

Lemon, lime, apple, white flowers, minerals, lightly toasted oak and vanilla. Paired with roast chicken and mushroom goat cheese risotto.

Nose: butter, oak, grass, yellow apple, overripe pear. Palate: slightly underripe yellow apple, yellow pear, grass, oak.

Clean.

Bright yellow/gold color. Aromas of orchard fruit, fragrant white flowers and raw nuts. Flavors of golden delicious apple, unripe peaches, nectarines, lemon zest and those raw nuts. Long, lingering flinty/mineral driven finish. No sign of oak aging. Medium bodied and quite vibrant. Nicely structured and pretty intense. Great value. Lemon zest. Gravelly tad of lychee and tropical fruit. Light palate good acidic balance

Feels over the hill, amber color.

Light but flavorful. Paired well with tuna.
