Louis Jadot
Nuits-Saint-Georges Pinot Noir
Nose has (light) old rubber band, dehydrated Bing cherry, oak bark with some alcohol heat.
Palate has dried cherry steeped in black tea, sous-bois and (light) vinyl notes or maybe some vegetal green pepper. Generally not impressed by this palate, little improvement since our prior bottle, lacking concentration.

A very interesting bottle, experiencing its evolution tonight in our glasses. Initially this had a little bit of funk going on, like rubber band mixed with Big League Chew (gum). But honestly now, blinded I'd think this is totally Gamay, but with a dusty note. Also I'm picking up wood bark, like when you split oak and the bark sheath falls off. The wine is a little lacking on concentration of flavor, but that has been lightly picking up the longer it has been exposed. I see another community member picked up black tea notes, I'd say I agree also. Dried cherry profile is mostly dominant for me, now.

Aug 15th, 2018Seems to be getting a little tired. Flattening out. Pleasant and should be drunk up.

Mar 27th, 2017I really liked this wine. True Burgundian. Tastes of strawberry, raspberry and some earth. Smooth finish and no acid. We had the 2009 vintage on 9/21/15.
