1993 vintage. Amazingly young for an almost 30 years old Burgundy. Some smokiness in the nose. Still good fruit, no signs of decline. The tannins have a little rough edge, but there is enough fruit to balance. A very nice mature Beaune. Abv. 13,5%.

Cherry and mushroom with a clean, zingy acidity and nice roundness. Light but complex and interesting

Tight as a drum. After some time decent cherry and strawberry. A bit tannic. Too young but I'm impatient.

This is not powerful, but this is a good old style Burgundy.

This a really satisfying, mature Burgundy. Aromas of fresh and dried red cherry mingle with notes of worn leather, dried leaves, mushroom and earth. The palate has a burnished edge of spice that supports vivid acidity as well as pomegranate, red cherry and cranberry fruit. Tannins are silky. A earth, first floor finish caps off this impressive wine.

Surprisingly lacking in body and stuffing considering the vintage and its Premier Cru ranking, but good minerality and a nice finish.

Silky, gentle, very fragile and elegant. Showing nice, but I would say I'm 5 years late with this bottle — you can feel traces of its past powerful grace, but the bottle went to sleep rather fast after opening.

This is a bit harsh at first, but it needs a lot of air to smooth out. Big, but fine tannins and stout acidity. Still needs cellar time. Darker fruit profile. Good finish.
