Fourchaume Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay

Lemon meringue and lemon curd, slight butter with some presence of oak. Coats the palate and delicious...just wanted a little more acid...

Ripe/yellow apples, vanilla, touch of butter, spices, and good acidity but not chablis acidity...overall delicious wine...

I’m impressed. My favorite current vintage Jadot white I’ve ever tasted.

Nose of cold/wet limestone, neutral oak, grapefruit pith and wet yellow cherry.

Palate has lightly oaked limestone soup, almond paste, faint tropical fruit and white flowers to finish.

A very nice bottle, enjoyed with to much youth. Should hit a great spot in about 2021+, yet still drinking ahead of the usual Burgundy age curve. Yes, 2016 IS great!

Boasting limestone soils with fossils contributes to the distinct minerality of Fourchaume Chablis. This wine has razor-sharp acidity and is full-bodied. Presents with crushed rock, pears, lemon, orange, and mild honey. Absolutely delicious!

38€ aprox. Chardonnay sobre lías. Sin mucha acidez, muy redondo. Un gran vino.

Great lemon/lime flavor and minerality. I wish they hadn’t used so much oak; Chablis doesn’t need it.
