Delicious. Lovely yellow-gold color. Lemons, minerals, a hint of creaminess, and a super long finish. Everything a Grand Cru ought to be. Some secondary notes but should continue to improve for a decade or more...

Mar 23rd, 2017Light liquid gold, incredibly brilliant. The aromas in this wine are so exotic and impressive, with incredible 12-year MacCallan Scotch aromas, incredible life-basic salinity; this is so complex on the nose, so exotic!! I can smell this all day and all night. Invasive glory in the palate, with incredible elegance but great expressiveness of brilliant acidity and privileged minerality. Full body of richness and expression and leathery texture. Butterscotch flavors for days, but the best kind. Corton Charlemagne is privilage and prestige! 97+ pts.
