Coravin sample. Blueberry nose and a little sulfur. I need to wait until it blows of. Dark ruby. At this point the wine seems hot and not that interesting. I usually like this property but this vintage looks like it was made to please may be I am wrong .... I will visit the same bottle later this week...for now a disappointment for the money. Part 2 gets more cherry notes over time yet is still unconvincing.

Jul 26th, 2016A disappointment even when tasted over two days. Light red color. Subdued strawberry on the nose. Very uninspiring on the palate. Nothing there. I usually love this wine but 2009 is a poor example of what the Clos des Ursules a monopole for Jadot can do. Avoid.

Black cherry and raspberry fruit upfront, some white pepper but good acid. Needs time still.
