I thought this one was a bit odd, little bit of acetone going on in my bottle. Then the forest leaves came out. BH 88-91, Tanzer 90.

Flawless but still a pretty boring wine without many positive attributes. Herbal notes, verging on green/unripe aromas and lean flavours. Another disappointing Jadot wine.

Elegant, cool airy nose with sour cherry, pomegranate and wild strawberry fruit. It has lovely sous bois, earth and loam notes with allspice and cardamom spice. Bright acidity that is a calling card of the vintage with red cherry, mushroom and spice flavors. Tannins are sweet and long. A fabulous wine that has aged gracefully.

This bottle was more vibrant than last bottle and seemingly has not reached apogee. Will wait until 15 year mark to try the next.
