Elegant, expressive red fruit, fine acid, hint of hay, burned sugar, length

Jul 8th, 2021Nose has chalky ripe cherry, over-ripe cherry, old milk chocolate shavings, plum skin and dried orange peel.
Palate has dried roses, orange zest, dried cherries, dried strawberry and cherry jam. Wonderful acidity and a long finish. Outstanding. Slow oxidation for 2H then decanted 3H; doing awesome at hour 8 in our glasses!
From 375ml, not missing a beat, at least a decade plus in front!
Pre-birthday dinner for our dear COVID bubble friend; we've only allowed one of our close friends into the house for almost the past year, tonight we're celebrating that he's one year older than me. 😉

Cherry and toasted earth on the nose and the palate is a little leaner than expected. Still there is some soft structured tannin and acidity which suggests a little more time and maybe this will evolve.

Cherry raspberry, truffles, subtle barn notes. Fresh, vibrant acidity, with cherry fruit bursting into a savory finish with excellent length. Paired with charcuterie board.
