Red cherries, black cherries, unripe strawberries. Crazy fruit without being a bomb. Interesting notes of spice, a slight funk of metal, almost a rusty iron nail note. Crushed bricks, crushed stone, blood, red licorice. Almost no acidity to speak of. Great stand alone wine, drinkable, and easy to pinpoint. Great wine to change up normal drinking habits.

I love this wine, thank you to my love for surprising me with it. Very easy drinking without food-perfect to drink while cooking a big dinner. I don't know if it's fruity or whatever but not a lot of tannins, this much I know. Good chilled too!

Beautiful nose. Bright fruit, freshly crushed berries, hint of spice, floral, black cherry, black tea, lighter-bodied, almost med-tannin and a bit of violets. Great wine for the price. Always a go-to for food.

Loads of black and white pepper that is very in your face. Light strawberry notes with moderate finish.

Meh, overtly acidic and out of balance. I had a better vintage ('12) a few weeks ago.

Screaming strawberries across a light-medium body goes down really smoothly. Would be a great choice for a summer picnic.

Christmas Eve dinner this year is mom's bibimbap with Beaujolais and SNL re-runs. Bright, light, tart cranberries, and a little acid to cut through that Korean spice,

Merry Christmas, friends - cheers!

In college I apprenticed with a glass blower for 2 years. We were pretty lazy, hung out a lot, smoked a lot of weed and drank this wine. Havenā€™t had it in a long time. Last nights Tasting Group theme was ā€œaha momentā€. Figured it was good to check in on this wine. Group full of Sommā€™s and winemakers...Blind we all loved this wine. It was 2013, decanted and open for 3 hours before we got to it. Great wineries make good wine.
