Bright yellow gold with small, persistent bubbles and rough white mousse. Ample nose of baked quince, lemon zest, and fresh brioche. Echoed on the palate with zingy acidity wrapped by a voluptuous body. Yes, I agree with the good folks at Decanter. This is both a great sparkling wine and a great value. LB’s non-vintage offerings also deserve looking into. I’m enjoying with herbed swai and quinoa pilaf.

Surprisingly good! I used not to be a fan, but the winemakers of my friend Jean-Claude are now making a pretty good job! What's left to champagne, but the price? ;-)
