Pipeño Coronel de Maule País

Awesome minerality and effervescence with perfect acid. AND it comes as a 1L. Perfect summer red, especially for swampy Nola heat. The result of a Burgundian making wine in Chile. Super fun wine. Thanks for the tip @Joe Briand!

A little fizzy, a little funky, and a ton of acidity. Missing some of the glou-glou quality and crunchy red fruit that I've enjoyed in other bottles/vintages.

Tasty fun...cloudy, fruity, white pepper delight.

Smoky, funky, light and a little green. Fun time.

Chilean, Beaujolais what???

Mission grape 140 year old own rooted from Chile aka Pais aka Criolla # history

Started off fizzy with a touch of leather, cranberry and funk. By the end of the liter it was a lambic wine stinking of diacetyl. Not terrible, not great. Probably better chilled. Tasted at 6Of.
