A light red-fruited pinot-esq Nebbiolo. Aromatic, rose petal, took 3 hours for the tannins to fill out with a fine dry, savoury finish.

Longview Nebbiolo 2012 #adelaidehills ; not as fearsome as the label; Aussie style neb with the fruitiness followed by the reamy tannins; excellent ripeness and length; only touch savoury; fruit rather than complex flavour range; 14.5%; by two New York Italians AUD 45 fair; better than the chewy green Langhes for the same money from 2013! Ouch. #longview #drinklocal #drinkitaly #drinkalternative #sa #saturnobros #italian

Still youthful but took some time to open up. Lots of fruit, some tannin but lacked body and finish. I wondered if there were gum (mint) trees near these plantings. Considering the $45 AUD price tag, reasonable for a Nebbiolo.
