Les Cris Pouilly-Fumé Sauvignon Blanc

2022 vintage. The warmer vintage suits the wine well. Very ripe, but good freshness. Intense and long. Abv. 14%.

Fantastic Sauvignon Blanc. Great mineral taste and green apple on the nose and smooth long finish. My favorite white wine went well with mushroom medley.

Light, smooth, tart, paired excellently with a truffle tagliatelle.

So flinty. So fresh. So Loire. Outstanding wine. WSET3 London.

Nervous acidity and strong minerality, but elegantly refined. A rock on the label makes sense! (Les cris means the vines are planted in pebbly limestone) Solid versatile white.
