A vibrant style for Napa, with razor sharp acidity and a lovely herbaceous note. Top notch. This 2010 was in a perfect place.

Gorgeous, wonderful green edge to the wine - holding up beautifully and a baby really - green coffee beans, tart plum, and a whiff of menthol . Well crafted.

Thanks Alex for sending this out to us and letting us try the great wines you and your family are making in Napa Valley. Dark and deep ruby red with some purplish hues. Initially very tight on the nose with a hint of cassis in the attack. Then after some time developed some cherry and vanilla notes, even an undertone of iron. Seems to be in the Bordeaux style, slightly dry. Lots of red cherries, dark cocoa and some wet stones especially in the texture. Some greenery too. Moderate tannins (7/10) and medium bodied. Here is where the dryness comes in, in the finish. Which is long and lingering. Would love to try some of their other wines in the future. Drink till 2025.

This is a sneak peek of the brand new bottling for 2013 this is the first sourcing of Cabernet Sauvignon from Pritchard hill vanilla and caramels lead into vibrant red fruit seamless on the palate extremely fine tannins a little green on the laterals this wine screams of cult Cabernet status a step up from previous bottelings
