Livio Felluga
Vertigo Bianco
Star bright straw gold. Shy nose (when cold) and medium palate of underripe pineapple, citrus rind, and honeysuckle nectar. Medium plus acidity. Medium finish. Felluga’s entry level white is a nice introduction to the range. It’s got a classic Italian style and complexity that makes it a proper pair for a wide range of foods. I’m having mine with penne, sausage, and vodka sauce (standard “white wine” fare wis fine, though). Drink now through 2024.

Nov 12th, 2021Bruised golden fruit, some heather honey and hazelnut notes from the age. Viscous, still with some tenacity but a bit past peak

Mar 12th, 2019Blend of Chardonnay & Ribiolla Gialla. Creamy mouth feel balanced by some tangerine pith. Aged on the lees. Similar to Soave Superiore with a touch more body.
