Bottle 1 of 2 elegant coastal PNs provided by our gracious hosts on Diamond Mountain. Mini 2007 horizontal. Cherry and cranberry still very fresh and lively, but there was a great mushroom earthiness as well, and sweet florals toward the finish. Total balance throughout.

Boisterous fruit profile with sepid tannins and a lovely lingering, if not slightly warm finish. Nice wine, but think you can find similar quality at a more accessible price point.
