My first experience with the Negrette grape. Pale pink color. First impression was that this wine was quite spicy and funky. Very floral on the nose with touches of strawberry and watermelon. Palate is quite fruit forward (peach, red berries and watermelon) but also very light. A bit of citrus on the very dry finish. A little heft from a textural standpoint along with bristling acidity. Interesting.

A nice rose recommended by liquor store staff. Enjoyed it with appetizers, as well as pizza.
