Another bottle. Still great! Can’t think of a better house red. Freaking delicious for around $30. Has pedigree. Will go with a steak. Very serious wine but also worthy of a mindless 7pm Monday evening

This gets the score because of the value. Pop and pour. Uber clean... le pin roots in Castillon. Unbelievable value. 90% merlot. Ripe, plump and delicious yet still very Bordeaux and fresh. Highly highly recommended

Blind side by side with Petrus 2015 and this one was the winner. Of course this one is at peak and Petrus is way too young but it says everything about L’Hêtre. Respect

Very nice Bordeaux from the makers of renowned Le Pin. This needs food for sure - the tannins and a bit of bitterness are quite present. But very nicely balanced with good depth and dark fruit. Nice wine esp for the price.
