Lewis Cellars
Reserve Napa Valley Chardonnay
Medium pale yellow. Definite oak influence in the nose, a bit buttery, floral, daisies and some white pepper. Medium acidity (6.5/10) and medium bodied. A touch of heat on the palate with oaky notes, spices and citrus. Medium plus finish. Drink till 2020.

Apr 29th, 2017Big Cali chard. Lots of flavor.. some butter scotch to start, but that fades with time. Spicy oak is definitely present.

May 27th, 2017Opened 2009 Lewis Barcaglia alongside 2013. Nice to experience what a few years can do to a good chard. 2013 Lewis Napa Reserve excellent too. The Kistler Noisetiers was nice contrast being the more Burgundian of the group:)
