Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc

Inexpensive food wine. Citrus zest, guava, fresh grass, little orange rind on the finish with zesty acidity. Nice wine.

A decent and drinkable Sauvignon Blanc, this wine is a food-friendly, if underwhelming, value. It is sort of thin, with very muted citrus tones over a light, grassy body.

Acidic and tart. Good for value, but nothing special.

From TJ's. If looking for a cheap SB this isn't too bad. Very one-dimensional though.

Blind Tasted. Lots of grapefruit, and a grassy note. Lime on the palate, and the grass mellows and dries out. I wish there was more acidity...the end/finish really suffered for it.

Funky nose that took a little while to open up. Gooseberries for days on the palate. Slightly one dimensional.
