Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend

PnP. Deep dark scarlet color. Warm floral nose. Notes of kirsch, black fruit, some herbs and a little soil. Impactful first sip, but a bit hot and lacking good structure to go with the ample fruit. Just ok.

Hoisin, soy sauce, plum and fig. What’s up with 98s? It’s got good lift and not overly extracted but meh

I don’t drink CnP often but when I do...this is a good option.

Monthly 4th Friday is post Thanksgiving this year, so lots of Thanksgiving style wines!

Nose was about an 8, but the palate is fantastic! Metallic, red clay, raisin and dirt on the nose. A surprising palate with the amount of fruit left! Wow. Blackberries covered in black pepper, peppercorn strip and licorice. Drink up! Very cool pull from @Dan Fitzgerald

Young garnet color. Bright and translucent. Fruit forward nose. Notes of dark cherries, plums, some wood. Very jammy. Great balance and texture in the mouth.

Deep dark garnet and barely translucent. Bright nose with notes of plum, black cherry, herbs, and dried brush. Impactful in the mouth. Rich and chewy. In the zone.

Tawny red, almost opaque. Vibrant nose with rich fruit, earthy soil, herbs de Provence, and dry brush. Great balance of fruit, structure, acidity. Medium plus finish. Great showing.

Lt ruby, translucent. Nose of warm berries, plum, soil. Sweet fruit hits the mouth, red berries with some dry dustiness. Has an over the top richness.

2012 vintage

Young with lingering tannins but showing nice wild blackberries, herbs and anise. Needs a few years to soften and come together.
