Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend

Bright Ruby with aromas of red fruit, blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre and 20% Syrah. Aromas of berry fruits, oak & sweet spice. On the palate flavors of raspberry, cherry and blackberry with hints of oak, leather, vanilla spice and black pepper, aged in oak, complex and elegant with fine soft tannins, long finish. Just getting good now, will age just a bit more!

Ruby in color with a wide reddish/ brick rim.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blueberries, sweet cherries, currants, oak, light vegetables, spices, tobacco leaf, chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, earth, black tea and wet leaves.

This is a tasty Grenache blend from Southern Rhone. Well balanced with nice complexity and mouthfeel.

This 5 year old, from one of the better vintages in the last 20 years, is still young and would be better in 5 years, but already drinking very nicely.

Probably still in a younger phase. Has a nice nut roll component at the end.

Improved from 7 months ago! Raspberries, strawberries, a hint of spices due to Syrah. Still would better in a year from now!

Still too young and tannic!

Lovely Chateauneuf Du Pape. Has not reached its peak. Can age few more years.
