Well, chalk one up to experience. I was quite enamored with this #riesling, light, crisp, great finish then I learned the hidden meaning in the label. Referring to Hugh J's pocket guide, I have now learned what a 'grosslage' is and why they are shunned. I am guessing it isn't so much due to flavor as much as it is ethics?
