Ruby with aromas of sweet berry fruits with spice, oak and floral notes aged for 15 months in 44% new French oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry and raspberry with floral, oak and herb notes. Soft fine tannins, good balance on long finish ending with notes of cacao, herb, earth, fruit and spice. Nice. Organic.

Eric Lemelson planted his first vineyard in 1995, 5 years after moving to a Yamhill County farm from Portland, where he had lived since 1979. Two years later, he planted an additional 30 acres of Pinot Noir, the first vintage (1999) of Pinot Noir was released in October 2001. Ruby with vibrant red fruit aromas and gentle spice. Flavors of cherry and strawberry with notes of floral spice and licorice. Soft tannins on a lingering finish ending with fruit and mineral notes. Very Nice!

Lemelson Vineyards Pinot Noir 2017: Light/Medium body. Soft tannin structure. Vibrant red fruit aromas. Strawberry, cherry & pomegranate flavors with notes of baking spices, vanilla, oak & earth. Smooth, dry finish. For me, this was a pure, bright & harmonious Oregon Pinot; one that I would definitely recommend and/or drink again. Perfectly paired this wine with a delicious, 4 course meal. Truth be told, this was bottle 1 of 3 of this evening! Cheers🍷
