Finally managed to wait a bit. Notes from 24 hrs open (in the fridge overnight). On the nose: soft reductive notes (still!), citrus, florals, a touch of grilled nuts. Wow, so compelling. On the palate: fantastic acidity, citrus, melon, soft nuts, lovely fruit density and a long finish. Gonna try to keep my hands off this for a while.

Richly textured with predominately ripe fruits and oak notes at this young age, but in a way that somehow conveys a sense of understated elegance. Enough acidity to carry the medium to full body.
My first of this iconic Chard from down under. And it did not disappoint.

Did not blow me away on either taste. Most memorable notes are the clean, linear nature. Not overly oaked or buttery. Very nice
