Adams Ranch Vineyard Syrah
Great fruit but it seemed to have a faint trace of cork taint.

Jul 24th, 2020Second wine at The Vineyard. Light purplish red. I do love the nose. Lots of black peppercorn, earthy. Is a little tight and needs time to open up. Moderate tannins and moderate body. Slight minerality in the finish. Very interesting soil type, sandy soil and this is Mark's own vineyard.

Feb 20th, 2018Assistant wine maker for Saxum. Lighter acidic and balanced in style, impressive given the source of the grapes - Paso. Tasted blind with 3 other Paso wines came in 4th.
