This Leconfield 2020 Cab Sauv came in the sample pack I was sent and it went down a treat! Definitely a nice taster.
In the glass it’s a juicy plum red colour. On the nose it’s rather earthy/forest like alongside having notes of blackberries, and vanilla oak. On the palate it’s fruity and fresh with plentiful black cherries and berry flavours. Nice full flavour without being overpowering. Balanced and delish!
All opinions are my own. Drink what you enjoy!

Deep crimson. More berry characters than herbal. Trace of Vanillan Oak. Not typically Cabernet - no Bay Leaf, no Tomato Bush and very little Mint. That mint often an indicator that this Cab is from Coonawarra not Margaret River. Fine supple yet persistent tannins which means it can be drunk now or cellared for a further 15 years. Excellent QPR at only $25.95AUD.

Dec 18th, 2018Deep Crimson. Leafy Cabernet aromas with cassis and Cedar. Blackberry flavours with ripe smooth tannins - oak nicely integrated into the fruit. Amazing QPR for $25. Gold Medal at the 2012 Royal Queensland Wine Show.

Jun 16th, 20182nd wine in the Coonawarra Taste off. Rich and vibrant from a good vintage. Latent power but could be drunk young. Fruit driven.
