Very very good. There’s a lot of texture to fit. Elegant. I for some reason find myself thinking I should serve it at next year’s Thanksgiving.

The 2017 ‘Walla Walla Valley’ Merlot is sourced in equal parts from the Seven Hills Vineyard and Ferguson Vineyard. Needing an hour in the decanter to be fully aroused, once awoken you experience dark currants and sandalwood aromatics, woven together with with shades of milk chocolate and roasted figs. The palate is fresh and vibrant with intense tannins that collide with the core of dark fruits, espresso bean and violets on the palate. With incredible tension and solid viscosity, this sturdy Merlot will enjoy a long life in the cellar. Drink 2022-2035- 93

Perfect for International Merlot Day on 11/7/2017. Dark ruby red with some garnet too. Integrated nose with some savory elements, pepper, toasty, and dried berries. A touch of cinnamon too. Well integrated medium tannins (6/10) and medium to medium plus body. Layered palate with blackberries, a touch savory, earthy, dark cocoa, dark berries and a little gravel. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2025.

This is a blend of two vineyards estate seven hills and ferguson they started the winery in 1983 going on the third generation. Has a bit of 7 CS 7 cf a good amount of red cherry and plum fruit notes of cigar box spice cedar and coffee. A big and chewy merlot nice freshness and elegance with a good hand of spice and earth through the finish. Excellent+
