Black currants, scorched earth, tobacco on the nose. Gorgeous on the palate. Sexier. Round, lush mouthfeel. Richer than their other two premium blends. Ripe; blackberries, dark cherries, plum & cherries. Softer minerality & loamy soils. The finish has ripe fruit with gentle minerals. 50-50 balance of fruit & earth. Photos of; their busy tasting bar, the school room and a deeper shot of their old school estate tasting room.

On the nose very Bordeaux like with organic earth, chalk, dried red flowers and toasted oak. Good concentration of Ripe Red and black fruits on the plate followed by herbaceous qualities and slight mineral notes. Finish was long and defined. Vintage charts say to drink now, which is correct, but this wine had more time left.

Drinking beautifully right now, dark chocolate, mocha, and blackberries on the nose - terrific blend of 60% cab, 29% merlot, 8% Malbec and 3% Cabernet franc. Smooth and round on the pallet with shuttle tannins - opened up nicely over an hour of drinking - providing close to a :60 second finish. Last bottle consumed - wish I had more!
