Deep ruby core with a little lighter on the edges. Nose is a bit muted with notes of roses, violets, raspberries, and dark cocoa. Solid acidity and medium tannins (6/10). Elegant and layered palate with cinnamon, red berries, minerality and perfumey. Medium plus body with a semi-dry long finish. Gets better with more air in the glass. Drink till 2025. | Sample from estate. Retail price is $50

Great opportunity to try some wines from Lauren Ashton Cellars prior to release. The heavy hitter for this tasting is the Cuvee Mirabelle. Deep and dark ruby red with a purplish hue. A little funky on the nose with some gamey/meaty notes, (we love the funk). Some smokey undertones as well as minuscule greenery and hint of nutmeg. Moderate tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Lovely savory attack that morphs into a few rustic notes as well as dark cocoa and caramel. Slightly dry in the long finish. Absolutely gorgeous GSM blend from Washington State. Highly recommended and a must try from Lauren Ashton. Drink till 2027.

A delicious GSM at 55%, 45%, and 5% respectively. Lovely sour cherry, a dash of mint, and orange peel extract flavors delivered with a little weight from the Syrah and very fine tannins. This is in a sweet spot now and I wouldn't hold onto your bottles much longer.
