Quite volatile initially, could dial down the acetone slightly but otherwise a standout. Tart black cherry and cranberry, violet, olive brine, fine grained granitic structure, warm earth. Let’s see what a day of air does

Jul 15th, 2022At first, quite a bit of reductive and bretty notes which blew off within a half hour. Night 1: Berries and barnyard, acid and spice.
Night 2: Thick, thick violet perfume upon opening. Tart cherry, mulberry, cardamom. Wow! A day of air does the trick. Nose is so sexy and voluptuous. Just something I want to pour all over myself. On the palate it has the hallmark texture and umami of the rosado. A bit of VA and subtle tannins are pleasant if not fully integrated.

Damn love this wine ! Was so good with dinner and paired with many different plates. Brought the last bit home as it warmed up so much more texture. Delicious!

Nov 10th, 2019A bit reductive and funky, but really beautiful floral and earth notes once it blew off. In hindsight I would grab a friend and a decanter, give it a little time, and finish it in one go.
