From the Chalk Hill winery, medium lemon color with aromas of white flesh fruits and spicy notes. On the palate, flavors of apple and pineapple with creamy butter notes (too much MLF) and off balance acidity. Medium finish ending with fruit, spice and butter biscuits. Drink now, but I would pass altogether. A bit pricey.

Medium yellow hue, almost gold. Some tears forming, but not as much as some oaked chardonnays.
Vanilla, butterscotch, Caramel, baked bread. The oak notes are really in control. Some sweet apple, peach, very faint citrus.
Low acidity, balanced sugar, not too sweet, huge mouthfeel, lingers a long time. Lots of alcohol in the back

This Chardonnay is absolutely delicious, and a good wine for any occasion. California wines are in a class by themselves and this wine is at the top! This bottle can go from the picnic to a party and I recommend you buy two because one is not enough. I can't wait to buy another one soon! Andre M.

Tastes oxidized. Can’t imagine it went bad in four years. If this was intended it sucks.

I mean, it's good. But it's not $25 good. I also have the 2018 to try which is $21 so... We'll see. This wasn't bad by any means, it's just overpriced imo.
